Inspiration & Motivation Blog

Today our round-the-world blog reviews take us to Bandung City in Indonesia to the blog of Arswino Sonata. One of Arswino’s favorite activities is sharing with people and inspiring them to live a happy, motivated life of success. This young and promising blog is his means to that end.

Inspiration & Motivation - Why You Should Go

We do see a lot of blogs in the blogosphere that are set up as motivational personal development blogs. To be sure, we have seen many here, not least of all because mindset and motivation are of primary importance to our host, Sean Rasmussen. It seems that each of these blogs have a slightly different take on the secret to life’s success, and a slightly different package for its delivery. Arswino’s blog, though, is truly unique.

Inspiration & Motivation aims to inspire mainly through storytelling. Arswino Sonata has a gift for locating stories with great morals for living, and it is these that he chooses to use to best illustrate his thoughts and beliefs.

Summing Up Inspiration & Motivation

Arswino’s approach to motivational blogging is thoughtful and entertaining all at the same time. It’s an easy and enjoyable place to visit, one that makes easy, short work of inspiring your day.

Putting Words To The Quotes That Inspire

Quotes in Our Own WordsWhere to Find Quotes…In Our Own Words:

Quotes…In Our Own Words

Sometimes the best blog concepts come from the simplest of ideas, as we’ve seen with blogs like Comical Comments and the like, and as we are about to see with Quotes…In Our Own Words (yes, this is about to be one of those “why didn’t I think of that?” moments).

Quotes…In Our Own Words is a blog that takes the inspirational quote just a step further, and turns it into not only a motivational tool, but also a subject of thoughtful discussion.

Quotes…In Our Own Words - Why You Should Go

Dexter the Quote Guy is a person who just “likes to spread a positive word.” And like most people, he finds that one of the most direct and meaningful ways to do that it to borrow the words of those who have said it best—the people from history and modern times who have produced the most concise, pointed, and hard-hitting quotes to inspire and teach.

What Dexter has done with these quotes on his blog is used them as a launching-point for discussion and positive thinking. With each post Dexter delivers one or a few quotes of interest (and from time to time stories and links of importance to make a difference in the world). He then talks a little about what each means to him, and opens the floor for discussion and growth among his readers. His inspiration grew from an interest in the Law of Attraction, and so his theme follows much along the same lines towards success, fulfillment, and positive living.

Summing Up Quotes…In Our Own Words

Sometimes the best way to say something is to let someone who’s already said it best say it all. And sometimes the way to make that into more is to share it and add a few thoughts of your own. That is what Dexter has done on his blog, a place where you can go for a regular fix of positive thinking.

A Real Way To Approach Positive Thinking

Positive ThinkingWhere to Find Positive Thinking:

Positive Thinking

“Deep,” “uplifting,” “inspirational,” “blessed,” are all words used to describe Kenny McBride and his blog, Positive Thinking – A Realistic Approach (which officially enters our ranks as our first blog from Scotland—congratulations, Kenny!). What is it that people are talking about? It is the realistic, life-centered, practical approach that Kenny uses to help people form their lives into one that is more positive and content.

Positive Thinking - Why You Should Go

These descriptive words from Kenny’s bloggers say a lot. Positive Thinking is worth your while because it does present realistic ways to maximize your life through positive thinking. Kenny’s approach is not entirely unique, but his realization of why this works just might be. He says, “Failing to accomplish your goals is a common trait. The reason for this is your approach to goal setting. Planning your goals around the life you have will ensure you get to the life you want, it’s just a simple strategy of one step at a time.”

Kenny’s advice and posts are very much grounded in starting at the point you are at to build a pathway to success that always includes you and the life you are living, and not just focus on a future far away. It’s a concept shared on various levels with other success coaches and experts, but one that may this time be communicated in a way you haven’t considered; perhaps one that you can connect with more easily.

Summing Up Positive Thinking

Kenny McBride shares some proven concepts on his blog, but puts things in terms and perspectives that make it easy to relate and implement. As he says, if you need, or “know someone who needs a little help in their life…tell a friend about this blog” and see if it’s not the one that finally makes simple sense of positive living for you.

Rocking Your Day With Dave Navarro

Rock Your Day

No, not that Dave Navarro, sorry. No less inspiring nonetheless!

This Dave Navarro happens to be a life coach and expert in turning your successful life up a notch. He’s not your regular kind of rock star, but the kind that “sweats behind the scenes rather than on stage, kicking successful people’s asses so that they become even more successful. I’m a personal productivity coach who gets deep into the minds of people who have everything going for them but are hitting some speedbumps and roadblocks - and I pull no punches until they break past the limiting beliefs that are holding them back.”

So when you know you have what it takes, but just have a hard time connecting the dots, or suspect you have it, but need someone to kick you in the backside to confirm your suspicions, Dave could be the missing link that can take you the extra step of the way.

Rock Your Day - Why You Should Go

Dave Navarro has made an art of being productive. His blog is where he puts that art on display. He writes actionable posts dealing with the big productivity busters like time management, work/life balance, becoming an early-riser and loving it, and how to add hours to your day. His is a blog that is stirring some controversy over which laws do and do not work, so there’s a good chance you’ll find yourself in opposition to some of what he says, but it is also a blog that offers plenty of progress-inspiring action well-suited to conjunction with the laws that you hold as truths.

Summing Up Rock Your Day

Rock Your Day is full of many things, and leading the pack is a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, kicking attitude, and a tinge of humor. Just reading Dave, whether you agree in total or not, is enough to fire you up to want to do more.

My Super-Charged Life

Jeff Nickles is a man with a passion and a mission. His passion—to live life to the fullest, in all aspects and in every way; his mission—to help you do the same.

As Jeff explains it, he has “always believed in living life to the fullest so I have spent numerous hours researching this subject in books and on the Internet.” Moreover, he has spent a lifetime implementing what he has learned through literal adventure and reading, and then brought all of his learned and earned knowledge to his blog so that you and all of his readers can experience the kind of life fulfillment that he has.

My Super-Charged Life - Why You Should Go

If the promise of a super-charged life isn’t enough of a reason to go to this blog to at least see what’s there then there really isn’t much more to be said to encourage you. But in the interest of putting the best effort forward, let me highlight a bit of what you’ll find there:

• Posts gleaned from personal experience living the super-charged life.
• Posts gleaned from extensive reading and ongoing research into maximizing life’s potential. (From Jeff: “I take the best of what I find and write about it here making it easy for others to locate and use.”)
• Personal lessons learned through action and adventure (including riding in an F-15, snorkeling in Cozumel, Colorado white-water rafting, and experiencing the Gullfoss Waterfall in Iceland).
• Weekly round-up posts on the best of the net in personal development in seven categories, including striving for excellence, being financially wise, commitment to a cause, leadership by example, the entrepreneurial spirit, continual learning, and, naturally, adventure!

Summing Up My Super-Charged Life

Jeff Nickles has had some excellent life adventures to be sure, and clearly he is living life large. But that does not mean that a person with a more low-key lifestyle cannot benefit from his super-charged blog. Jeff’s attitude shows that he understands the perspective of success and fulfillment; “It doesn’t matter how you define success or in what profession you work. The principles of success are the same.” And when you know those principles of success, you know how to capitalize upon them for you own good and self-interest. That is what Jeff’s Super-Charged life example is intended to do. Visit Jeff today and be inspired to make the most of all yours days!

Wealth & Wisdom For The Other 20%

Wealth and WisdomWhere to Find Wealth & Wisdom:

Wealth & Wisdom

Wealth and wisdom go hand in hand; that is the foundation of B Smith’s Wealth & Wisdom blog. Those terms as applied to this blog mean a variety of things—wealth and wisdom are not only financial; they are also personal, emotional, professional, and much more. This is a blog that is aimed at helping you become a personal success in all parts of your life, a truly holistic approach to success and happiness, focused largely on entrepreneurship, but so applicable across the board.

Wealth & Wisdom – Why You Should Go

B. Smith embraces Vilfredo Pareto’s 80/20 principal (whereby 80% of wealth is controlled by 20% of the population) to give readers both focus and perspective; but where others will focus on life in the 80th percentile, Smith encourages you towards bigger success—the real advice that helps you succeed as one of the wealthy, the top 20% of people that produce results. His take is inherently more action-focused, providing the useful advice that it takes to be better than average.

Summing Up Wealth & Wisdom

B. Smith has a firm understanding of what real success is, and recognizes that it goes far beyond financial achievement. His posts and the information provided on his site are thus geared to tackle success through every imaginable avenue, including communication, life balance, finance, wealth, and life lessons. It’s an in-depth look at what it really takes to be a life success, and a valuable resource for anyone who is really serious about living better than the vast majority of the world.

Heroes Are Among Us, Everyday

Every Day HeroesWhere to Find This EveryDayHeroes:
Blog URL: http://edhskyrun4.blogspot.com/
Category: Inspiration, Motivation

EveryDayHeroes

This blog’s builder, Sky, describes EveryDayHeroes as her “… celebration of the human spirit.” Believing that there are “Many heroes are among us, including you.”

EveryDayHeroes is the work of Sky and of contributor Steve Fields. Its focus is on finding the heroes of the world in order to celebrate what’s good about the human condition and inspire others to do good things, and to credit themselves with the good they already do.

EveryDayHeroes - Why You Should Go

What makes a hero? Where are the real heroes? Are heroes real?

These are questions that are answered at this blog. Yes indeed there are heroes, but they may not be what you envisioned them to be. Some of the inspirational and insightful quotes included on this site illustrate this. For example,

From Arthur Ashe:

True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others, at whatever cost.

From Felix Adler:

The hero is one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by.

These perspectives serve as the foundation for the stories of real, Every Day Heroes that Sky highlights. If you can agree with that perspective, you will surely find some inspiration here, from stories like the 7 year old boy that brought freshwater wells to Africa to the simple heroes when a disastrous F5 tornado and flooding struck near Sky’s hometown.

Summing Up EveryDayHeroes

Every Day Heroes is a new blog with a lot of promise. It promises to inspire and to motivate, and to help you look within yourself for personal realization and development. Just when you thought there was nothing good to report, a blog like this comes along to remind us that as human beings, we are basically good and willing to help. Somehow it seems blogs like these come along just in time.

A Boost For Positive Living

Positive CommunicationWhere to Find Positive Communication:
Blog URL: http://marcomblog.web-log.nl/

Positive Communication

Positive Communication‚Äîsounds like something the world needs more of, doesn’t it? Without argument we all get enough of the negativity that’s out there, and after a time it begins to infect one of our most cherished and basic abilities‚Äîcommunication.

Similar to Proof Positivity, Positive Communication is a blog that highlights the best of the world’s news and actions. As the author, Ellen Janssens, describes it, “This blog is a Tribute to the Positive News. To Positive Action, People and Possibilities that Make a Difference. To social campaigns that use Positive Communication, focusing on what people can do.”

Positive Communication - Why You Should Go

The news highlights that Ellen offers are uplifting, but the author goes much further than the news feeds. Each post is accompanied by a thoughtful summary and discussion.

But not all posts here are news links; far from it. There are also posts of inspiration quoting and discussing many of the greatest and most inspiring authors, poets, and musicians. In addition, the blog is filled with inspirational quotes and snippets to keep you going in the positive way.

Summing Up Positive Communication

Ellen Janssens has identified a true need of the world’s societies‚Äîto remember our wealth as people and as a larger society, and to value all that is good in life‚Äîand support it. Her blog is one to stop through for daily inspiration, a place to relax and appreciate each and every day, if only for a few minutes. Go here when you are in need of some positive vibes (and as Ellen says‚Äî”well, who doesn’t??)

A (Positive) Blog For The Kids

Proof PositivityWhere to Find Proof Positivity:
Blog URL: http://proofpositivity.blogspot.com/
Category: Motivation, Charitable Giving

Proof Positivity

Proof Positivity is a blog with a mission much higher than gaining a following. It’s the collective effort of contributing writers Amber, Ark of Hope for Children, and Nardeesims with the purpose of highlighting positive news to help “‚Ķchildren of all ages to find their voice through positive news.”

Proof Positivity - Why You Should Go

One reason to go is to support this worthy cause and the worthy causes that are also supported through it. The blog was created not only to shed more light on the good news that is out there, but to use that outlet as a way to support children’s education and well-being. The primary mission is this:

“For every child to have an opportunity to write or report no matter what their grades are.” The reasoning behind that is, “A child sometimes needs to develop a love for something before they are motivated enough to bring their grades up.”

That mission is achieved through sponsorship and presumably website visits, and also through shopping and purchase opportunities provided directly from the site. The funds collected will go towards funding classroom studios that will be used to accomplish that goal of giving every child the opportunity to explore and write about what they see.

That in itself is enough of a reason to go, but there is even more. In addition to the primary mission there are many needful individuals and causes that are highlighted. The news sources themselves lead to many deserving causes. On a more basic level, perhaps the simplest reason to go is to see that there is good news out there worth reading; this is a place that compiles them in one place, without the negative news that is the norm through traditional media channels.

Summing Up Proof Positivity

Blogs exist for many reasons, be they educational or entertaining. And all of these take time and dedication to maintain. Few people give so much of themselves for no personal gain (save the gain of satisfaction). Proof Positivity is one that does. It is a place of positivity, as it strives to be, and also a place with a purpose. You can feel good about yourself when you visit a place like Proof Positivity.
