All that is asked is that discussion be interpretive and civil, and all opinions are welcome.

Inspiration for posts comes from people like Napoleon Hill, Wallace Wattles, and the much recognized Anthony Robbins, as well as Richard’s own studies and experiences. These are balanced with practical articles and “how-to’s” for life and success.

“Deep,” “uplifting,” “inspirational,” “blessed,” are all words used to describe Kenny McBride and his blog, Positive Thinking – A Realistic Approach (which officially enters our ranks as our first blog from Scotland—congratulations, Kenny!). What is it that people are talking about? It is the realistic, life-centered, practical approach that Kenny uses to help people form their lives into one that is more positive and content.

These descriptive words from Kenny’s bloggers say a lot. Positive Thinking is worth your while because it does present realistic ways to maximize your life through positive thinking. Kenny’s approach is not entirely unique, but his realization of why this works just might be. He says, “Failing to accomplish your goals is a common trait. Get Rich Slowly does not offer

• Get rich quick schemes (guess we shouldn’t be surprised)
• MLM fads
• ‘Hot’ stock tips
• Pitches for products or books (save for the occasional or timely reference to something real J.D. has used)

In the place of all this that isn’t there, J.D. offers “daily information about personal finance and related topics.”

Why? So that readers can find their way through the maze of debt to wealth as J.D. himself has done.

Get Rich Slowly – Why You Should Go

First off, it’s an award-winning blog as I mentioned; but not just one of those graphics trophies that circle the blogosphere, real designation by Money magazine as the “Most Inspiring Money Blog.” That’s something worth bragging about.
Beyond the bragging, though, there is a real blog full of real useful, educational posts dealing with everything related to “sensible personal finance.” And this isn’t theory—it’s tips, tricks, insight, and information that J.D. learned on his way out of $35,000 of debt: “I share stories about debt elimination, saving money, and practical investing. I also post occasional reviews of books, magazines, and software. And, of course, I scour the web for the latest personal finance tools and articles.”

If you are into feeling sorry for yourself or thinking that life is handing you just too hard a hand, you won’t want to visit Glenda Watson Hyatt’s Do It Myself Blog. But if you are into inspiring stories of perseverance and accomplishment, this is a blog you do not want to miss.

Due to a lack of oxygen at birth, Glenda was born with cerebral palsy. Starting life this way certainly presented its challenges, but her parents were determined to wipe “can’t” from her vocabulary and give Glenda all the tools she needed for life success.

They succeeded admirably. Glenda Watson Hyatt succeeded admirably. Today, she is a noted author (of her own recently published book, I’ll Do It Myself), blogger, and podcaster, sharing her experiences to help others overcome whatever it is that holds them back‚Äîand she did it all with limited mobility, verbal communication, and typing only with her left thumb!

Do It Myself Blog – Why You Should Go

Motivation and inspiration are two of the primary goals of Glenda’s blog, where she “shares her experiences living with cerebral palsy to motivate and inspire others to think about how they perceive their own situation and their own world around them.” This succinct blog description very accurately describes what Glenda does here. Her own story is inspiration enough, but her continued work takes inspiration and motivation to a new level.
