September already and away we go!  We’re kicking off the month with a mix of topics on some really great blogs.

Week In Review, September 7, 2009

  • Starting out the week we featured Bonnie’s Blog of Crime, where Bonnie Prisbey is taking the time to keep an eye on crime and those less fortunate victims of it.  Hers is not a blog that one would describe as entertainment, but is certainly one with an important purpose.
  • Looking for a blog that brings together all the health and nutrition information you see?  You’re looking for the AstroNutrition Blog, your one stop for collected, collaborative health information.
  • Shane Shirley-Smith is working hard to help us as consumers and citizens of the planet achieve the synergy between our various roles.  Environmental Health-Wellness-Beauty is working to make us the happiest, healthiest, most responsible consumers ever.
  • Unraveling all the diet and nutrition advice that is out there is a tough job, and one that registered dietitian Melanie Thomassian is more than happy to do.  Learn from a pro in the know and get solid, factual nutrition advice at Dietriffic.

That wraps the first week of reviews for September, but you can go back in time and check out the last of August in last week’s Recap Review.  And do come back for a full schedule of great blog reviews next week!

Recap Review, July 27 Edition

It keeps getting better and better here at Digg, with blog reviews for blogs covering a wide variety of topics of interest and information.

Week In Review, July 27, 2009

  • To start off the week, we went over to the Baby Blog Addict.  This blog will give you all the parenting and pregnancy advice and information you want, and help to feed that inner parenting blog-reading addiction.
  • Having satisfied that urge, we moved on for more personal improvement and self-development, stopping in to visit with Erin Falconer and the team at Pick the Brain–a blog for better and bigger common-sense self-improvement.
  • Whatever is on your mind and the minds of others at My Thinking Life is the topic of this open-ended blog.  Quality posts of unlimited interest are what you’ll find here.
  • Finding better paths to effective education is the name of the game at Instructify, led by Bill Ferris.  It’s a blog where educators can get down to business, without any of the unwanted political distractions.

Recap Review, July 20 Edition

We’ve tapped into some very interesting and diverse blogs this week, some of which mark the first of their kind for blog reviews here at Do You Digg It.

Week In Review, July 20, 2009

  • The first post of the week was a review for Steven Terjesen’s World War II History blog. Steve is preserving the facts of the past for future generations and history buffs alike.  It’s an important blog with an important purpose, and one of great interest as we follow along day by day with this date in WWII history.
  • Not exactly a blog review, but if you’ve an interest in Steve’s WWII blog you will enjoy this story of a chance meeting with a WWII soldier between our own Sean Rasmussen’s and a veteran soldier.  Enjoy this story of an ANZAC Legend.
  • Michael Sauers is showing everyone how the new information age is ushering in new importance and practices in the field of the library sciences.  Read about the new evolution of information access at the Travelin’ Librarian.
  • Ringing the not-so-traditional school bell is Carol Richtsmeier of the Bellringers Blog.  Come learn about education in the trenches from a seasoned expert, and enjoy this woman’s love of life and positive spirit.
  • Finally to wrap the week we have more in the field of education, a site developed expressly for the purpose of helping you make the most of your educational endeavors.  Get in sync with your future at Admission Sync.

We had more firsts and great blogs last week.  Check them out here at the July 13 Recap Review.

Recap Review July 13th Edition

Our recent blog reviews have become quite varied, but that’s the best thing about them.  We’ve got a blog full of reviews for blogs covering a wide range of interests, all with great quality and information, and all excellent resources in their given fields.

Week In Review, July 13, 2009

  • Interested in going somewhere new?  Discover Kuala Lampur, a land like no other.  Not the foggiest idea of where to go when you get there?  Or what resources and services to use to do that?  This is your blog–Where To Go In Kuala Lampur has all the questions answered, and will help you build a vacation unlike any you’ll find in the travel books.
  • Get fit!  Getting fit is a challenge, and an ongoing one at that.  Blogger John is the first to tell you that.  His brutally honest fitness and wellness blog is not all about the good, it’s about the challenges and struggles, too.  Go along to John Is Fit and tap into a hugely supportive health and fitness community as well as an excellent information resource for all related topics.
  • Does the field of Forensic Science fascinate you?  Doesn’t it fascinate us all?  Then you’ll want to come along and check out the Forensic Science Blog.  Here you’ll learn all about the field, the uses, and how to get into a forensic sciences profession, too.  Whether for fun or for career resources, this is the blog you want.
  • I love a good education blog.  Education is the key to the future, and Pat Hensley is working hard to make sure that teachers have the resources they need.  Successful Teaching is giving teachers what they need to be more successful in their careers and learn to enjoy them more.  It is also a top-notch resource for parent/child activities and education information.
  • Last but not least, we’re turning an eye to good health with the help of Dr. Joseph Kim. His Medicine and Technology blog helps us make sense of the two and understand the advancements and options in medical technologies today–something that is ever-changing and so most beneficial to have this knowledgeable guide along to help with.

I hope you didn’t miss a beat last week, but just in case (because we’re all busy people!) go here and check out last week’s blog reviews, too.

Week In Review, July 4, 2009

  • We went over to Sweden (first time for Digg!) to share Karin’s My Recipes blog.  Karin had been building her collection for years, and is now publishing them online for the first time ever.  Great times and great food!
  • It all went to the dogs the next day when we visited with Julie at Doggy Logic.  All the dog info you could want, and more that you didn’t even know you needed!
  • Jeffrey Weeks has life figured out.  Learn by his example at A Dash of Salty.
  • Fair is fair, a feline affair.  Balancing out the cat-dog equation, we stopped in at the Cat Info Center for the cat lovers in the audience.
  • Next we traveled the Road to Independence with independent investment advisor Mike Patton.

And of course, there were more great blogs from the week before, and you can see them all in last week’s Recap Review.
