It’s always fun to digg back through your old posts and see what you might have forgotten.  Even though the blogs we review here on Digg It are unforgettable, there are those that we don’t get to pay as much attention to as we like, simply for the sheer number of blog reviews that we do.  So when we do get a chance to go back through our favorites, it’s like Christmas all over again.

Needless to say, in my excitement I was just not ready to let go of the idea of highlighting some of the past blogs.  Today I went and looked up some of our most favorite self improvement and empowerment blogs from days past, and have brought you three of them.  A couple of these aren’t really all that old, being from around New Year’s, but were great blogs worth a second look, and a chance to catch up and see if their resolves held (they did!).

Personal Improvement Blogging Blasts Worth A Second Look

  • The first that came to mind was Stuart Ginbey’s blog which deals primarily with Reprogramming the Mind for Success.  This is one of those blogs that helps you get out of your head and on to a life of successful action.
  • Our second pick happens to also be the first of our international blog review efforts from the land of the Scots.  At Positive Thinking – A Realistic Approach Kenny McBride continues to shine with his down-to-earth approach to positive thinking and success.
  • Our final choice for today’s better-living blog reviews is Christine Kane, the woman who brought us the concept of choosing a new word for a New Year, an alternative to resolutions based mindset.

These are my personal picks for the day, but I’d love to hear from all of you, too.  Do you have a favorite Digg It blog review?  Or do you think there’s a top blog that we’ve missed?  Maybe yours? Don’t be shy, comment below and tell us all about it!

To Your Success In The New Year!

Celebrate Success!Category: Do you Digg It

Too early for New Year’s posts and resolutions? Never. It’s never too early to take a positive look back, to learn from the resources at hand, and to plan for a bigger and better future. So just as Christmas seems the right time to revisit photoblogs of past reviews, this time of year also seems the right time to revisit the many excellent success and motivational blogs that have graced the cyberpages of Do You Digg It.

Do It Myself BlogGlenda Watson Hyatt has been the focus of posts here a couple of times. She is a truly inspirational person, one succeeding far beyond the average person, despite seemingly insurmountable challenges. If ever there was a person to prove that all things are possible, it’s Glenda. Be sure to see her blog and make it a regular stoop for continued motivation throughout the year.
Successful Blog – Liz Strauss has earned her big name in blogging and success motivation. Hers is a community with arms wide-open, sharing the best of blogging and success. And somehow, Liz always finds the time to meet new bloggers and commenters, and give a personal warm welcome and note of support. Make hers the stop for support and friendship on your journey on the path of success.
Positive Thinking – Kenny McBride shows us that positive thinking is an international action! For real, down-to-earth positivity and success communication, stop by Kenny’s blog.
• Our Own Sean Rasmussen – I know it’s only been days since we overviewed Sean’s blogs, but there is no rounding up success communication blogs without mentioning his. For ongoing success motivation and lots of great motivational freebies and eBooks, Sean’s blogs are a “must stop.”

Of course, these are not at all close to being all of our success and motivation blog reviews. There have been many over the course of the year, all of which you can access through the archives and categories of personal development, motivation, and success. Spend some time here reviewing the reviews, and pick out a few to follow to keep you motivated toward even more success this year.

Wishing you the most successful year ever!

Positive Thinking

“Deep,” “uplifting,” “inspirational,” “blessed,” are all words used to describe Kenny McBride and his blog, Positive Thinking – A Realistic Approach (which officially enters our ranks as our first blog from Scotland—congratulations, Kenny!). What is it that people are talking about? It is the realistic, life-centered, practical approach that Kenny uses to help people form their lives into one that is more positive and content.

Positive Thinking – Why You Should Go

These descriptive words from Kenny’s bloggers say a lot. Positive Thinking is worth your while because it does present realistic ways to maximize your life through positive thinking. Kenny’s approach is not entirely unique, but his realization of why this works just might be. He says, “Failing to accomplish your goals is a common trait. The reason for this is your approach to goal setting. Planning your goals around the life you have will ensure you get to the life you want, it’s just a simple strategy of one step at a time.”

Kenny’s advice and posts are very much grounded in starting at the point you are at to build a pathway to success that always includes you and the life you are living, and not just focus on a future far away. It’s a concept shared on various levels with other success coaches and experts, but one that may this time be communicated in a way you haven’t considered; perhaps one that you can connect with more easily.

Summing Up Positive Thinking

Kenny McBride shares some proven concepts on his blog, but puts things in terms and perspectives that make it easy to relate and implement. As he says, if you need, or “know someone who needs a little help in their life…tell a friend about this blog” and see if it’s not the one that finally makes simple sense of positive living for you.
